Project Overview
TechQRT Pvt Ltd was engaged by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Indian Railways to develop a comprehensive Virtual Reality simulation focused on fire safety protocols. The initiative aimed to deliver immersive, scenario-based training for fire prevention, detection, response and evacuation.
The Challenge
Traditional physical mock-ups and live drills were expensive, logistically difficult and sometimes unsafe. High-risk scenarios such as onboard fires in moving trains or confined-space emergencies were difficult to reproduce repeatedly.
The Solution
TechQRT delivered a tailored VR fire-safety simulation with realistic 3D railway coaches, stations and operational contexts, interactive fire scenarios, hazard identification, procedural decision-making and performance analytics.
Results and Impact
The platform reduced reliance on physical props and repeated live drills, enabled safe and repeatable practice, improved trainee confidence and supported expansion into additional emergency scenarios.
